• That means everything is done in line with UK law, GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018

• I don’t trespass, hack, harass, or do anything dodgy that could put you or me at risk

2. How We Work Together

• We’ll agree on the scope of work, fees, and timescales before I start

• I may ask for a retainer (an upfront payment) before beginning your case

• Communication is key - I’ll keep you updated on progress, and you can ask questions any time

3. Money Stuff

• Fees are clear from the start. No hidden charges

• Retainers are non-refundable once work has started

• If extra time or expenses come up (like extra hours of surveillance or travel), I’ll confirm with you before adding costs

4. Confidentiality

• Your case stays 100% confidential

• Reports and evidence go only to you (unless I’m legally required to share them, e.g. by a court)

5. Evidence & Outcomes

• You’ll get a factual, clear report - with photos or video where lawful

• I can’t guarantee what we’ll find (because people do what they do), but I guarantee honesty and professionalism in how I handle your case

6. Your Part

• You confirm you have a lawful reason for instructing me

• You agree not to use any information I provide for illegal or harmful purposes

• If you ask me to do something unlawful, I’ll end the agreement immediately

7. Wrapping Things Up

• Either of us can end the agreement with written notice

• You’ll only be billed for work done up to that point

• If I need to end the agreement (for legal or ethical reasons), I’ll explain why

8. The Legal Bits

• Fully insured and registered with the ICO for data protection purposes
